No accounts you did not ask for, no telemetry, and no data leaving your device unless a feature you chose requires it. Every product is sold outright or by subscription, with a clear refund policy and a real person answering support.

It runs on your machine

No server holds your data, because there is no server. Every product works with the network disconnected unless a feature you chose needs it.

No account to use it

Install and go. An account exists only where a paid licence has to be tied to something, and even then activation is a single request.

A privacy-first, offline TOTP/2FA Chrome extension. Seeds are encrypted at rest with Argon2id into AES-256-GCM, and a code is a pure function of (secret, time) — no account, no server, no network. It imports every format, including the Google Authenticator migration QR that is broken in most competitors, and exports to everything in two clicks.

Scheduled Google Drive backups that move deletions into a dated archive rather than destroying them, plus two-way folder sync that reaches a phone in seconds. Built around the way backups actually fail: a pair of hand-rolled scripts stopped running for five days and nothing said so, which is why the menu bar reports health rather than merely existing.

Spreads your connections across Wi-Fi, ethernet, cellular tethers and nearby devices, entirely on your own machine. Per-flow multiplexing rather than packet-level bonding — which is precisely what lets it work with no server in the middle. It also measures itself: name a configuration, and a comparison grid times every profile against every site you care about so the tuning is a number rather than a claim.

A stopwatch for page loads. It counts up on the toolbar from the moment a request is about to leave to the moment the last resource lands, colours the number on a logarithmic green-to-dark-red scale, and answers the question that number is usually asked in service of — whether a change to your network actually helped.

Adaptive Pacer

The speaker's pace changes. Yours does not.

A words-per-minute pacer for YouTube. It reads the caption track, works out how fast the person is actually talking — words divided by the time spent speaking, so pauses do not count against them — and moves playback speed continuously to hold a constant reading rate. A slow lecturer comes up, the dense passage two minutes later drops back down, and the change lands just before the fast passage rather than during it because the measurement window looks ahead.

Virtual audio devices you create yourself, fed by applications, hardware inputs or other virtual devices, with channel-level wiring and monitors so you can hear what you are routing. The tool that does this well is macOS-only at $99; the Windows options are unmaintained cables. This is one product, one config file and one key across macOS, Windows and Linux.

macOS gives you one Dock, on one display at a time. docky adds as many as you want — any edge of any monitor, each with its own apps, widgets and behaviour. Native magnification, Liquid Glass, and docks that come back to the same edge when a display is unplugged and plugged in again.

Keep a captured web session alive in your own gateway

A Chrome extension and a local companion that record the call a logged-in web app actually sends — headers, cookies, bearer and all — land it in your own omniroute gateway as a provider, and then replay the recorded auth flow to mint a fresh token before the old one expires. The manual version of this is DevTools archaeology every few hours.

What is dfacto.ai?

dfacto.ai builds a small number of focused software tools that run on your own machine. There are seventeen: Jetsam, Foveate, Transparency, Vault, Tessera, Rotor Authenticator, Trove, Linkfuse, Tock, Adaptive Pacer, Audiowire, yankd, Display Upscale, Video Wallpaper, Joinery, docky, and tokenplug. Every one of them is local-first — it does the work on your device rather than sending your data to a server — and each product page states plainly whether it is finished and on sale.

What can I buy today?

Jetsam and Foveate — the two with a checkout today. The other fifteen publish their prices so you can plan, but none of them can be bought yet — each product page states its own status plainly rather than taking money for something unfinished.

How is the software delivered?

Everything is digital and delivered immediately. Browser extensions install from the Chrome Web Store; desktop applications are downloaded directly. Paid licences arrive by email as a key you enter in the application. There is no physical product and no shipping.

Who am I buying from?

dfacto.ai is operated by Deepak Marathe, a sole proprietor based in India. Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, who acts as the seller of record, issues your invoice, and handles payment and applicable taxes.

What is the refund policy?

Fourteen days, no questions asked. Email founder@dfacto.ai within 14 days of purchase and you get a full refund without having to explain why. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and will not renew.

What data do these products collect?

As little as possible, and usually none. The products are local-first: they run on your device and do not require an account to use. Where a paid feature needs to verify a licence, that is a single request stated in the privacy policy, and nothing about your usage is transmitted.
